Church Work Day

We will have a Church Work Day this Saturday, October 26th, starting at 9:00am.

The tentative list of projects for this Saturday is below:

• Scrub all tables in Fellowship Hall and Ed. Building
• Take air conditioners out of Ed. Bldg. windows
• Polish pews in the sanctuary
• Green paint around heat vent in Fellowship Hall
• Clear outside basement steps
• Wash the door windows
• Replace outside spigot
• Kitchen window repaired so it will close all the way
• Ed Bldg. - Touch-up paint on front porch posts
• Ed building small step on south end of front porch – paint or make new one
• Put stain/water sealant on weathered posts at handicap ramp
• Add metal caps to wooden posts at handicap ramp
• Front door – inside - Repair/reattach metal bar that holds bottom weather seal
• Men’s restroom – wire brush and paint rusty escutcheons on supply pipes
• Basement floor & walls: bleach solution and/or cleaner like Pine Sol
• Smoke detectors – test and/or check batteries, replace if weak
• Adjust water fountain so it does not put water on the wall
• Gravel lot: install orange marker poles where needed (spares in shed)
• Remove large chunks of pavement in gravel lot
• Fill in the hole in field where the water test was done
• Patch hole in stucco exterior wall northeast side of Fellowship Hall
• Gas powered water pump – do oil change, add Stabil to fuel, run briefly
• Lawn mower shed – paint or waterproof bottom edge of siding
• Add strip of trim on outside of pastor's study window
• Install fifth security camera/dusk-to-dawn light – southeast corner
• Repair “dead” outlet in Ed Bldg. front room first floor – north wall

New Evening Bible Study Series

Starting this Sunday night, October 27th, at 6:00pm our Evening Bible Study will begin working through the video curriculum, Marks of a Healthy Church.

Join us as we think about what it means to be a church and what marks a healthy one.

Halloween in Wycombe

We are participating again this year in Halloween in Wycombe on October 31st. Stop by for candy, cider, and warm up by the fire.

November Prayer Meeting

Our next monthly Prayer Meeting will be on Thursday, November 7th at 6:30pm.

Church Breakfast

On Sunday, November 10th, we will have a church-wide breakfast at 9:00am in place of Sunday School.

Semi-Annual Meeting

Our Semi-Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, November 10th, after the morning service.

Giving Information

Giving at FBC Wycombe goes toward three funds: 1) General Fund, 2) Missions, and 3) Benevolence. Benevolence is collected in special plates twice a month; the others are collected every week.

Any undesignated contributions go toward the General Fund. Because Missions has a separate budget, it is necessary for missions giving to be designated. To give to the Missions Fund, please designate the amount on an offering envelope. If giving by check, please designate the amount for Missions in the memo line as well.

As always, offering plates will be placed at each exit this Sunday. If you would prefer to mail in your offering, you may still do so; simply send your gift to the following:
