    Life Abundant Giving Tree

For the 2025 Christmas Season we are partnering with Life Abundant Prison Ministry to provide gifts for families affected by incarceration.

If you would like to participate, please take a tag with the child’s information and gift suggestions from the tree in the Fellowship Hall, and return the gifts to the church by November 30th. Please do not wrap the gifts, but attach the tag to the gifts.

    Intro Class

If you're interested in membership or would simply like to learn more about FBC Wycombe's history, beliefs, and structure, join us on Saturday, November 15th, from 9:00am-12:00pm for our "Intro Class."

Please contact us if you would like more information.

    Communion & Benevolence Offering

This Sunday, November 16th, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the end of our service. We will pass the elements out in the customary manner, and we will have individual servings of the elements available in the foyer for those who prefer to partake that way.

We will also take a collection for our Benevolence Fund. This offering goes to those with tangible needs. Marked silver offering plates will be at each exit for this offering.

Note: If you intend to give to this offering by check, please write a separate one from your check for the General Fund and Missions. This is because the Benevolence Fund uses a different checking account from the others.

    Confession of Faith

This Sunday, November 16th, we will confess our faith together using Article XXII of the Belgic Confession (1561):

We believe that for us to acquire the true knowledge of this great mystery the Holy Spirit kindles in our hearts a true faith that embraces Jesus Christ, with all his merits, and makes him its own, and no longer looks for anything apart from him. For it must necessarily follow that either all that is required for our salvation is not in Christ or, if all is in him, then he who has Christ by faith has his salvation entirely.

Therefore, to say that Christ is not enough but that something else is needed as well is a most enormous blasphemy against God—for it then would follow that Jesus Christ is only half a Savior. And therefore we justly say with Paul that we are justified “by faith alone” or by faith “apart from works.” However, we do not mean, properly speaking, that it is faith itself that justifies us—for faith is only the instrument by which we embrace Christ, our righteousness. But Jesus Christ is our righteousness crediting to us all his merits and all the holy works he has done for us and in our place. And faith is the instrument that keeps us in communion with him and with all his benefits. When those benefits are made ours they are more than enough to absolve us of our sins.

Thanksgiving Eve Service & Pie Potluck

Join us on Wednesday, November 26th at 7:00pm for our annual Thanksgiving Eve Service & Pie Potluck. We will gather to sing and give thanks to God, and then retire to the Fellowship Hall to enjoy pie and one another's company.

Bring a pie to share. We'll see you then!

    CEF Christmas Party Club

FBC Wycombe is hosting Bucks and Montgomery Child Evangelism Fellowship to put on a Kids Christmas Party Club! Children ages 5-12 and their parents are invited to attend on Saturday, December 6th, from 10:00am-12:00pm to sing, play games, eat snacks, and hear the story of Christmas. Each child who attends will receive a party favor.

This event is free, and you can help us know how many children to expect by using the registration link here.

    Giving Information

Giving at FBC Wycombe goes toward three funds: 1) General Fund, 2) Missions, and 3) Benevolence. All three can be contributed to online. General Fund and Missions giving can be done in-person each Sunday. Benevolence can be given to in-person on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Online giving can be done through the link here or texting the word “Donate” to: (484) 969-9878.

Any undesignated contributions given in person go toward the General Fund. Because Missions has a separate budget, it is necessary for missions giving to be designated. To give to the Missions Fund, please designate the amount on an offering envelope. If giving by check, please designate the amount for Missions in the memo line as well.

As always, offering plates will be placed at each exit this Sunday. If you would prefer to mail in your offering, you may still do so; simply send your gift to the following:
