Thanksgiving Eve Service & Pie Potluck
Join us this Wednesday, November 27th at 7:00pm for our annual Thanksgiving Eve Service and Pie Potluck. We will gather to sing and give thanks to God, and then retire to the Fellowship Hall to enjoy pie and one another's company. Bring a pie to share. We'll see you then!
Life Abundant Gift Collection
This Sunday, December 1st, is the due date for the gifts for distribution by Life Abundant Prison Ministries. These gifts are going to the children of those affected by incarceration.
If you need a reminder of the steps to follow, they are below:
- Choose an ornament from the tree on the table in the Fellowship Hall next to the nursery. (Note: each child has two ornaments on the tree, but you only need to take one of them.)
- Put your name on the sign-up sheet by the child’s name you have chosen.
- Purchase an appropriate gift for the sex and age of the child. (If you need suggestions, these can be found in the folders on the table.)
- Wrap the gift and then attach the ornament to the gift as a tag.
- Return the wrapped gift to the table no later than the evening of Sunday, December 1st.
Thanks to everyone who has already signed up to participate. Please contact the church office if you have any questions.
Guest Preacher
This Sunday, December 1st, Dr. Jonathan Master, the president of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and co-host of the “Theology on the Go” podcast will minister the Word in the Sunday morning service. Dr. Master and his family were part of FBC Wycombe several years ago while he was teaching at Cairn and he filled in for Pastor Gerry Newswanger during his illness in the winter and spring of 2016/17.
Please pray for him as he prepares to preach the Word to us.
Communion & Benevolence Offering
This Sunday, December 1st, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the end of our service. We will pass the elements out in the customary manner, and we will have individual servings of the elements available in the foyer for those who prefer to partake that way.
We will also take a collection for our Benevolence Fund. This money goes to those with tangible needs. Marked silver offering plates will be at each exit for this offering.
Note: If you intend to give to this offering by check, please write a separate one from your check for the General Fund and Missions. This is because the Benevolence Fund uses a different checking account from the others.
Prayer Meeting
Our next monthly Prayer Meeting will be on Thursday, December 5th, at 6:30pm. Join us as we seek God’s face together.
CEF Kids’ Christmas Party
On Saturday, December 14th, FBC Wycombe is hosting Bucks-Mont Child Evangelism Fellowship so they can put on a Kids’ Christmas Party. Children ages 4-12 and their parents are invited to attend from 9:30-11:30am to sing, play games, eat snacks, and hear the story of Christmas. Each child who attends will receive a party favor.
This event is free, and you can help us know how many children to expect by using the registration link here.
Christmas Eve Service
We will have our Christmas Eve service on Tuesday, December 24th, at 6:00pm. Join us for a contemplative evening of Scripture readings and carols as we celebrate the incarnation and birth of our Savior.

Giving Information
Giving at FBC Wycombe goes toward three funds: 1) General Fund, 2) Missions, and 3) Benevolence. Benevolence is collected in special plates twice a month; the others are collected every week.
Any undesignated contributions go toward the General Fund. Because Missions has a separate budget, it is necessary for missions giving to be designated. To give to the Missions Fund, please designate the amount on an offering envelope. If giving by check, please designate the amount for Missions in the memo line as well.
As always, offering plates will be placed at each exit this Sunday. If you would prefer to mail in your offering, you may still do so; simply send your gift to the following:
