Narnia on the Green 2026
Join us this week on August 13-14 at 6:00pm for the second half of our 2026 “Narnia on the Green." We and our neighbors will complete our trek through the second book in C.S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia series, Prince Caspian. Remember to bring a lawn chair!
Communion & Benevolence Offering
This Sunday, August 16th, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the end of our service. We will pass the elements out in the customary manner, and we will have individual servings of the elements available in the foyer for those who prefer to partake that way.
We will also take a collection for our Benevolence Fund. This offering goes to those with tangible needs. Marked silver offering plates will be at each exit for this offering.
Confession of Faith
This Sunday, August 16th, we will confess our faith using Questions 122 and 123 of the Heidelberg Catechism (1563). You can find the text of those questions and answers below:
What does the first petition mean?
“Hallowed be your name” means: Help us to truly know you, to honor, glorify, and praise you for all your works and for all that shines forth from them: your almighty power, wisdom, kindness, justice, mercy, and truth. And it means: Help us to direct all our living--what we think, say, and do--so that your name will never be blasphemed because of us but always honored and praised.
What does the second petition mean?
“Your kingdom come” means: Rule us by your Word and Spirit in such a way that more and more we submit to you. Preserve and increase your church. Destroy the devil's work; destroy every force which revolts against you and every conspiracy against your holy Word. Do all this until your kingdom fully comes, when you will be all in all.

Giving Information
Giving at FBC Wycombe goes toward three funds: 1) General Fund, 2) Missions, and 3) Benevolence. All three can be contributed to online. General Fund and Missions giving can be done in-person each Sunday. Benevolence can be given to in-person on the first and third Sundays of the month.
Online giving can be done through the link here or texting the word “Donate” to: (484) 969-9878.
Any undesignated contributions given in person go toward the General Fund. Because Missions has a separate budget, it is necessary for missions giving to be designated. To give to the Missions Fund, please designate the amount on an offering envelope. If giving by check, please designate the amount for Missions in the memo line as well.
As always, offering plates will be placed at each exit this Sunday. If you would prefer to mail in your offering, you may still do so; simply send your gift to the following:
